Abstract

"There is much more continuity between intrauterine life and early childhood than the impressive caesura of the act of birth would have us believe." I don't know if I'm misinterpreting this quote, but I think it's not inappropriate when Freud says “the impressive caesura.....makes us believe”, as if it were the caesura that ruled us.
