O tabu do feminino e a desmentida da vulva e do clitóris

Neste trabalho, o autor revisa alguns preconceitos falocráticos perpetuados ainda hoje dentro da psicanálise como se fossem fatos cientificamente consubstanciados. Falsas afirmações sobre a inexistência de cultos à vulva, de sociedades matriarcais e de Amazonas, fruto de interpretações misóginas ao longo da história, e que já vem sendo corrigidas desde o final do século XX por antropólogas e historiadoras, são questionadas. Bibliografia histórica e arqueológica mais recente, assim como algumas imagens de achados arqueológicos, são apresentadas para fundamentar tais questionamentos. Por fim, hipóteses são levantadas sobre as possíveis origens dos tabus quanto ao feminino na psicanálise e fora dela.
