Focus and Scope

The Revista de Psicanálise da SPPA has been edited since October 1993 by the Porto Alegre Psychoanalytic Society, affiliated to the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), and is a quarterly journal aimed at researchers, professors, professionals and students in the field of psychoanalysis. As of 2020, she joined the streaming publishing system. Scientific articles can be submitted that follow high standards in the editorial care of the texts, presented in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, with the requirements of being unpublished and original in Brazil, prepared in accordance with the author's right and not submitted at the same time to evaluations in other national journals.

Editorial line

The editorial proposal is the dissemination of contemporary psychoanalytic thought through the publication of unpublished or original articles in the country that deal with psychoanalytic theory and technique, history of psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic clinical communications, topics of education and psychoanalytic profession, research and methodology for psychoanalytic research and interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on psychoanalysis.

The Journal is open to suggestions from readers, which can be sent to the email revista@sppa.org.br
