Abstract

The article presents the analytical experience with a patient, initially perceived in a context of neurosis. However, based on the psychoanalytically trained observation of the verbal and non-verbal expressions of the analysand, on the effects in the field of some of the analyst's interventions and the successive transformations triggered in both participants, both during the analytical work and a posteriori, it was possible to reach the understanding that the analytical work took place in the oscillation between the non-psychotic and psychotic dimensions of the personality, expressed through transformations in hallucinosis.
