Abstract

Taking as its starting point Clarice Kowacs’ short story When the Bright Morning, the author proposes an exercise in sincerity and describes the associations that occurred to him during the reading. He synthesizes these associations in three words (desire, death and incomprehension) and, moving between literary and psychoanalytic references, seeks to reflect on their particular and universal meanings.
