Recordação da realidade histórica nas análises de filhos de sobreviventes do Holocausto

O presente trabalho examina o lugar da recordação e reconstrução de eventos traumáticos em psicanálise. Enfoca o impacto das memórias do passado traumático de pais sobreviventes do Holocausto sobre a vida de seus filhos, da forma como é apresentado através do fenômeno do enactment. Crianças que carregam o fardo de lembranças que não são suas próprias frequentemente ecoam os dramas existentes nos mundos internos de seus pais encenando-os em sua própria vida. A tentativa de transformar o enactment em um fenômeno cognitivo e, assim, interromper a série de enactments fragmentados, muitas vezes autodestrutivos, é realizada pela recordação e reconstrução deste passado traumático (AU)
