Between Merleau-Ponty and Civitarese: the field of intersubjectivity

In light of the recognition made by Civitarese of the importance of Merleau-Ponty’s philosophy for psychoanalysis, especially for the necessary conceptual foundation of the analytic field as intersubjective, this article succinctly presents the philosopher’s complex elaboration, throughout his extensive work, of the issue of intersubjectivity, together with its presuppositions and implications.
