Abstract

The analytic work, by its own characteristics, exposes the analyst to constant disturbances on his narcissism and threats to his professional identity. The severa) acting out with patients can be understood as an attempt to rescue the analyst's omnipotence and to cure his narcissistic wound. Similar to Leporello and Don Juan; personages of Mozart's opera, the analyst risks to confound his role as a therapeutic servant with those of a master who imposes him self to the patient and dominates him through seduction
